As authorized signatory, Walter Birner continues to represent the company externally, but focuses primarily on future issues for Birner and the industry.
His political commitment ranges from being a member of the board of the European interest group for the independent parts trade – FIGIEFA – to being represented in the Austrian chamber committees. From January 2019 it is also planned that he will take over the board of the Association of Independent Parts Dealers - VFT.
The non-profit association Carmunication, founded by Walter Birner, has created a platform that makes live data from the vehicles available to anyone who is interested and authorized to do so. “Of course I also want to tackle the future issues relevant to the Birner company, but I need the necessary time to do that,” says Walter Birner, explaining his goals.
