A total of 233,430 valid votes were cast in the 2020 Chamber of Commerce election. This results in a voter turnout of 33.7% with 692,877 eligible voters. Compared to the 2015 elections, voter turnout fell from 38.9% to 33.7%. The turnout in the automotive technology sector was positive. With 8,206 eligible voters, voter turnout was 47%. Harb is convinced that one of the reasons for this success is certainly the satisfaction of the member companies with the work of the guild of vehicle technicians in the Chamber of Commerce. In a member survey in December 2019, the performance characteristics of the vehicle technology guild were asked. Assessed according to the school grading system, the automotive engineering guild achieved an average score of 2.0 in the areas of training and sympathy. An even better rating was achieved in the areas of competence and reliability. The average value is 1.9. BIM Josef Harb is pleased about these good values because it means: “That we are very close to our members and it motivates us to align the guild’s service offerings even more closely to the needs of the members.”
