Motair offers products from well-known OE manufacturers as well as remanufactured turbochargers and is one of the leading European suppliers in this area. The company also has other cultivated products in its range that are sold worldwide. “Motair’s products are an ideal extension of our existing range of over 62,000 different spare parts,” says Karsten Schüßler-Bilstein, Managing Director of the bilstein group.

Turbo with tradition

Motair Turbolader GmbH was founded in 1971 and has established itself as a full-range supplier for all turbocharger brands in Germany. The company's headquarters with its 25 employees will remain and complement the existing German bilstein group locations in Ennepetal, Wuppertal, Gelsenkirchen and Durmersheim. “We are pleased to have a strong partner at our side in the future with the bilstein group,” says Motair Managing Director Andreas Solibieda. Motair was previously part of the Hess group of companies. “As part of the consistent implementation of the growth strategy in the auto parts wholesale business, our shareholders have decided to sell Motair to the bilstein group,” says managing director Philipp Hess.
