Benjamin Burkard leaves AkzoNobel
The paint and coating specialist AkzoNobel announced an important personnel change: Manager Benjamin Burkhard will be leaving the company at the end of the year. Heinz Piskay, Business Director Vehicle Refinishes EMEA, will take over the position of Sales Manager DACH on an interim basis.

“It is often said that you should go when it is most beautiful.” With these words, Benjamin Burkard announced his departure from AkzoNobel. The managing director of Akzo Nobel Coatings GmbH Germany and sales manager for the automotive refinish business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) is leaving the company at the end of the year.
Benjamin Burkard joined AkzoNobel in 2013. During his time at AkzoNobel, he made a decisive contribution to bringing the group's automotive refinish business and the premium brands Sikkens and Lesonal into a strong position in the DACH region. His leadership qualities and commitment have brought the organization to a new level of performance, as it is now said on the occasion of his farewell. The most successful moments of his career at AkzoNobel include the repositioning and expansion of the Acoat Selected network, the launch of the Caravan concept and the market launch of Paint PerformAir.
