AVL measures exhaust gases while driving
As the market leader in RDE system solutions, AVL presents M.O.V.E iS, a measuring device that promises maximum valid test yield under all test conditions. The M.O.V.E iS system is easy to install on a car trailer hitch. It is used to determine the NO/NO2 and CO/CO2 concentrations directly at the end of the exhaust system of diesel and gasoline vehicles, achieving very good comparability to today's test bench measuring equipment. Real Driving Emissions (RDE) legislation for passenger cars in Europe requires manufacturers to carry out on-road emissions tests using portable emission measurement systems (PEMS). The AVL M.O.V.E iS portfolio was introduced in 2012 as the first “real” RDE PEMS system and is now the preferred solution in the automotive industry.
