“We are undergoing a major change in the use of motor vehicles.” With these words, Harald Preuner, Salzburg's mayor and chairman of the supervisory board of the Salzburg Exhibition Center, officially opened the 30th AutoZum yesterday. At the previous industry media talk, editors-in-chief Wolfgang Bauer, KFZ Wirtschaft, Gerhard Lustig, Auto und Wirtschaft and Roland Scharf, ATG, discussed the challenges of future mobility and digitalization in the automotive industry. In the second industry talk, industry and chambers also discussed the opening theme “Future.Teaching.Expertise” extensively. Peter Unterkofler, President of the Salzburg Industrial Association and Chairman of the Industry Division of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, emphasized; Werner Steinecker, MBA, General Director of Energie AG Upper Austria and President of the Zukunft.Lehre.Österreich association, as well as Josef Harb, Federal Guild Master of the Federal Guild of Automotive Technology of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of teaching and the cohesion of the industry with a platform like AutoZum.
