Automechanisa starts digital offensive
Automechanisa offers new digital networking opportunities to everyone who would have liked to come to Frankfurt in person in September.

Automechanisa starts digital offensive

From September 10th, a series of online training courses for workshops will take place a utomechanisa-frankfurt.com. Additionally, visitors to the website will find updated company profiles of the exhibitors. Anyone who uses the new “Connect” tool in the Automechanika app can get in direct contact with other automotive professionals.
Jürgen Karpinski, President of the Central Association of the German Motor Vehicle Industry (ZDK):"Automechanisa's digital offensive is a great initiative that I expressly support. The topic of further training in particular is essential in our industry. The diverse range of online seminars and workshops is an excellent opportunity for workshops to receive further training free of charge this year."
In addition to the well-known damage talk (in the live stream), around twenty free online events will also take place up to and including November 2020, which Automechanika is planning together with specialist publishers and partners from the industry. There will be live workshops, coaching, video tutorials, podcasts and expert discussions on the following topics: classic car repair, radar and camera-based driver assistance systems for commercial vehicles, digital company workshop, accident damage repair, repair paint and finish, body dent removal techniques as well as joining and separating techniques and DAT damage cost calculation and digital communication. Further live workshops and films are planned on the topics of AML, installing additional lights, ADAS calibration, headlight adjustment and diagnosis of on-board electronics with fault memory readout, as well as insight into hydrogen and fuel cell technology using the example of a Toyota Mirai.
The new “Connect” tool in the free Automechanika app offers all registered users the opportunity to network specifically online. This is how it works: Users create their personal profile with their interests. Thanks to a filtered search, you can quickly find relevant, new business contacts, but you can also be found and use the chat function to contact other automotive professionals or providers. The app with the new function is expected to be available for download in popular app stores from September.
