Automechanisa 2020 canceled
The leading trade fair Automechanisa in Frankfurt, which would have taken place from September 8th to 12th, 2020, has been canceled. However, there is an alternative date.
Automechanisa 2020 canceled
Due to the current tense situation caused by the corona pandemic, Messe Frankfurt, together with its customers, partners and supporting associations, has agreed to postpone Automechanisa Frankfurt, which was planned for September 8th to 12th, 2020.
The new date is: September 14th to 18th, 2021
For many participants and visitors from over 180 countries, participation would not be possible under the current and expected circumstances. Together with exhibitors, representatives from industry, workshops and trade as well as associations and partners, Messe Frankfurt has agreed on the new date for autumn next year.
In the following yearsAutomechanisa Frankfurt will maintain its usual two-year cycle, which means it will take place in odd-numbered years from now on.
Detlef Braun, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt:"The health of all participants in the event, whether exhibitors or visitors, is our top priority. Given the fact that the pandemic is moving in waves across the globe and in some countries the pandemic will only reach its peak in the summer, I am sure that postponing Automechanika to September 2021 is the right decision. Especially in the last two weeks, we have had intensive discussions with our customers, partners and supporting associations, which have given us this clear signal. With the new date, we are following the wishes of our customers."
