Robinson car dealership: demand is increasing
Verena Robinson, managing director of the car dealership of the same name in Graz, is only partially satisfied with the current situation.

Robinson car dealership: demand is increasing
“The demand for workshops is currently very, very high,” says Verena Robinson, CEO of Autohaus Robinson. “We are completely booked for the next two weeks.” The showrooms for the Mazda and Kia brands are closed because they each have over 400 square meters. Nevertheless, there are one or two salespeople on site. “We are currently taking care of the delivery, which we can now finally make,” says the managing director.
In order to be able to boost sales again as soon as possible, the car dealership will move sales outdoors as much as possible. Verena Robinson can't complain about a lack of interest from end customers: "We're getting more online inquiries for used cars than usual." There have been no cancellations of new car purchases so far. "The workshop business is getting off to a very good start, I think we will soon be at the pre-Corona level. But when it comes to new car sales, I'm afraid we won't reach that level. I'm also more than unhappy about the current solution: small shops are open, the larger ones like us have to remain closed. That's a distortion of competition."
