The first four apartments of a total of eight units were recently handed over to long-term employees. The other apartments will be given to plumbers, mechanics and apprentices, who are currently still being sought. “We hope that, thanks to the affordable housing on offer, well-trained plumbers, mechanics or apprentices from more distant districts will also apply to us,” said managing directors Hans and Manfred Lindner. Two mechanics, an accounting employee and the building technician have already moved in. They are happy about the favorable rental conditions, the attractive location of the apartments and the possibility that they can reach their workplace in just a few minutes on foot. The traditional family business Auto Lindner is currently run by the third generation and looks after vehicles from the Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda brands. The company sells around 1,200 new and used cars every year. Around 22,000 orders go through the workshops every year. There are 65 employees at the Wals location, 14 of whom are apprentices. They are particularly proud of the VW Group's customer satisfaction ranking, which is 4.9 out of 5 stars, as well as a recommendation rate of 98 percent.
