At the annual press conference There were interesting facts from Autogott: In 2016, the average discount for new cars, daily registrations and stock vehicles was 18.2 percent (or 5,358 euros). In 2015 it was 19.85 percent. The most popular brands on the platforms were Opel, Skoda, Seat, Ford and Kia. Mazda, VW, Renault, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz follow at some distance. A survey of 500 Autogott users indicates a slightly positive trend for 2017, with 31 percent of those surveyed planning to buy a new car. 24 percent are toying with a young car, 23 percent each with a daily registration or a used car. The most popular vehicle category continues to be SUVs or off-road vehicles, closely followed by station wagons, which have seen significant growth. In addition, Autogott has launched a free used car valuation in cooperation with the car price index. This allows interested parties to determine a guide price for their used car in three simple steps.
