AutoFrey delivers Austria's largest E-MINI fleet to Biogena

At the end of October, the Salzburg car dealership AutoFrey handed over a total of 126 fully electric MINI Coopers to the healthcare company Biogena. This means that Biogena operates the largest E-MINI fleet in Austria and the second largest in Europe owned by a single company. The cooperation between the two Salzburg companies is seen as a clear signal for sustainable corporate management and future-oriented mobility.

Biogena has been consistently pushing forward the electrification of its business mobility for years. Around three quarters of the entire vehicle fleet is already electric. The company's headquarters in Koppl has its own photovoltaic system, which supplies over 50 percent of the electricity required to operate the vehicles. Employees can charge their company vehicles at a total of 50 charging points.

Managing director Stefan Klingelmair sees this as a strategic step: Electric company cars fit seamlessly into the company's sustainability strategy and also contribute to its attractiveness as an employer.

Biogena managing director Julia Hoffmann emphasizes the ecological impact of the change. By using the purely electrically powered MINI Cooper, the company can save around 84,000 kilograms of CO₂ annually. Biogena has been relying on e-mobility in the company car sector since 2017.
