AutoEmotion is also taking a break
The corona crisis is claiming the next victim in the event sector: After AutoZum, AutoEmotion 2021 will also be canceled.

AutoEmotion is also taking a break
The news comes after the cancellation of AutoZum and numerous other major events in various industries and yet it is the next bad news for the automotive industry in Austria: At the general meeting of the Association of Graz Automobile Dealers (VGAH), the members unanimously decided that "in order to avoid any health risk", the holding of southern Austria's largest automobile trade fair, the traditional AutoEmotion, will be "suspended" for 2021.
The association is aware of its responsibility towards visitors, exhibitors - especially their employees - and sponsor representatives, as it says in a press release.
Too much risk
Health comes first, is the uniform tenor of the renowned automobile dealers in Graz. Indoor events in particular with a high number of visitors - after all, 15,000 to 20,000 visitors usually flock to the Graz town hall at AutoEmotion - represent too great a risk. Meanwhile, there is hope for the future: "Everyone is hoping for the challenging situation to normalize and so the exhibitor association is looking confidently into 2022," is the somewhat conciliatory conclusion of the association's official statement.
