"The jury's decision confirms the continuous success of the MEWA brand. We are perceived as a leading textile service provider that stands for hygiene and cleanliness, security of supply and sustainability," says Bernd Feketeföldi, commercial director of MEWA Austria. The company was awarded by Superbrands Austria.

Repeat offenders

It is the fourth time in a row that MEWA has won the Business Superbrands Austria Award. The Superbrands program brings exceptionally strong brands into the spotlight. It was introduced in the UK by marketing and communications experts about 20 years ago. The program now recognizes outstanding companies in 90 countries worldwide. It is not possible to apply for the Superbrands certificate. The brands are selected based on economic criteria and on the recommendations of industry associations and specialist organizations. The Superbrands Business Brand Council then evaluates and awards the preselected companies.

No sooner had the award been awarded than MEWA has already presented the next highlight: the new MEWA Move collection. The new workwear fits close to the body and still follows every movement - whether stretching, bending or kneeling. All items of clothing have sufficient internal and external pockets with reinforced pocket bottoms to store even small items of utility material. Snap buttons and zippers are concealed. The aim is to meet all of the customers' wishes and demands: If you ask employees in industry and trade about the perfect work clothing, according to MEWA, all good things come in threes: professional look, comfortable fit and lots of comfortable pockets: The new collection fulfills this and, with its functional, casual style, is all about movement.

The trend colors in the workshop

The collection currently consists of jackets, trousers and dungarees in the favorite colors of craftsmen and production employees. "Most teams in the workshop and factory hall prefer blue, gray, black or red clothing. That's what we oriented ourselves on," reports Feketeföldi. For better combinability, the jackets are available in one- and two-tone versions, coordinated with plain-colored waistbands and dungarees - all made from a light, comfortable cotton blend fabric.

MEWA offers the puristic, modern clothing for rent based on the textile sharing principle: each employee receives their own personal outfit in multiple versions. The worn clothing is picked up by MEWA on agreed dates and fresh ones are delivered. MEWA washes according to the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute. All companies that process workwear bear the wfk seal for textile hygiene. “We also care for a mechanic’s clothing so hygienically that he could theoretically work in food production with it,” says Bernd Feketeföldi.
