Toyota, Mazda and Denso forged an alliance with the aim of jointly developing technologies for electric vehicles.

Toyota Motor Corporation, Mazda Motor Corporation and Denso Corporation agreed to establish a new company comprising selected engineers from the three partners to ensure efficient implementation of the joint development projects. The agreement covers a wide range of models, from small cars to passenger cars and SUVs to light commercial vehicles. The combination of the individual strengths of the companies involved - Mazda "bundled" product planning and computer-based development, Denso electrical technologies and the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) - enables an innovative development process.
