Concepts for future problems such as automated driving functions, driver assistance systems and challenges of e-mobility also play a role at the tire symposium, as do classic technical topics, such as adhesion mechanisms of new and used tires. The symposium, which is taking place for the first time in the ÖAMTC mobility center, is being organized in collaboration with Semperit Reifen Ges.m.b.H. and the Institute for Vehicle Drives and Automotive Technology (IFA) at the Vienna University of Technology. ÖAMTC Vice President Günter Thumser and institute director Bernhard Geringer (TU Vienna) welcome the speakers, the closing words are spoken by Mirco Brodthage (Semperit).
